At FFG, we prioritize culinary innovation to deliver delicious, healthy meals that cater to our diverse customer base. Our 50 chefs create memorable travel experiences by pushing boundaries and offering a wide range of international tastes – including but not limited to general Western/US, Latin, Japanese, Korean, Chinese/Taiwanese, Indian, Halal, African, Mediterranean, Central, Eastern or Northern European.

FFG collaborates with experts to create tasty and nutritious meals. We prioritize local, sustainable ingredients and overcome high-altitude cooking challenges. We meet the demand for plant-based options and use innovative techniques like sous-vide and steam ovens. We invest in packaging and presentation to enhance retail and in-flight meals. Our partnerships with celebrity chefs offer exclusive dining experiences onboard.

Shelf Life and Packaging

Our customers are increasingly demanding the use of innovative shelf live and packaging technologies including MAP or Frozen to preserve the quality and safety of our food products or and/or reduce food waste. FFG has been experimenting with a lot of innovation in food packaging in recent years, with many new materials and technologies being developed to improve the shelf life of food products, reduce food waste, and enhance the consumer experience.

FFG is continuously looking at production automation opportunities including the use of machinery, robotics, and computerized systems to automate various aspects of the food production process targeted to increase efficiency, reduce labor costs, and improve product consistency and quality.

In our view, the automated systems we are already using and others under development are most certainly helping to ensure product quality, safety, consistency, efficiency, and cost. However, we continuously ensure that food safety and quality are not compromised in the pursuit of our increasing automation, and that all equipment and systems are properly maintained and monitored.
