Sue Gin founded Flying Food Group in 1983 with a single airline catering kitchen and one domestic airline customer at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. With Sue at the helm for over three decades, the company emerged as a leader of the U.S. large-scale catering industry. Sue’s passionate commitment to award-winning cuisine and impeccable customer service reflected her creative entrepreneurial spirit. Sue passed away in 2014, but her legacy continues to inspire Flying Food Group!
David Cotton is CEO of Flying Food Group and affiliated companies. Working closely with Sue Gin, David served for two decades as CFO of Flying Food Group. Prior to that, he was a consultant to the company. Under David’s dynamic leadership, the company continues adding customers and locations. He earned degrees with high honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (MBA) and Yale University (BA, Economics).
